If you prefer the function of a spray finish, a clear spray finish can be applied on top of a tinted oil. A clear oil finish can not be applied on top of a stain. Oils can mix with oils, and stains can mix with stains, to create custom colors. Please see the Services page for information on our design tiers and custom color program.
Note: All wood, stains, and tinted oils appear different in different lighting, and on different computers, phones, and screens. All wood, even within the same tree specie, can absorb oils and stains slightly different from one table to the next. There is no such thing as an exact “color march” in hardwood furniture or finishing.
